PRESENTATION
NIKITA LEV
Originally from New York, Nikita Lev has established herself as one of the most sensitive and promising voices on the current indie pop scene. Her new single, ‘No One Is Gonna’, explores the beauty and fragility of romantic love — that feeling of being fully connected to someone, even if only for a moment. This warm and emotional track is the second single from her latest EP, Suspend, released on 17 October.
‘This song is about the moment when you leave someone you love, your heart full, aware of what that person means to you, no matter what the obstacles,’ says Nikita.
Prior to that, she released ‘Kill Her Mind,’ a debut single praised for its depth and captivating production—a track described as ‘the sound of overanalysis set to music.’ With swirling guitars and layered vocals, this track already showcased her ability to transform emotional chaos into art.
Born and raised in New York City in an eclectic musical environment—between chamber music ensembles and 90s alternative rock—Nikita wrote her first songs at the age of ten. After a stint in Los Angeles, she returned to her hometown with a more assertive artistic vision: a mix of fragile songwriting and raw emotion, where each track oscillates between melancholy and light.
With Suspend, Nikita continues to captivate with her sincerity and cinematic universe. From the dreamy agitation of ‘Kill Her Mind’ to the soothing softness of ‘No One Is Gonna’, she asserts herself as an artist who is both introspective and universal — a new voice to watch closely in independent pop.
